Eligibility Criteria for JBNSTS Junior Scholarship Test 2023
Here are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:
Domicile
The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
Gender
For the Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti 2023 scholarship, only girl students are eligible.
Academic Qualification
The applicant must have passed the Class 10 or equivalent examination.
Minimum Marks
The applicant must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate.
Stream of Study
The applicant must have taken admission in Class 11 in the Science stream, with at least 3 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, and Computer Science, in the year of application.
Please note that candidates who have passed the Class 10 examination before 2023 are not eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 1,250 for two years. Additionally, girl candidates selected under the Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti 2023 program will receive an annual book grant of INR 2,500 per month and exposure to seminars and workshops designed for young scholars.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of a bi-phasic test, which includes a written test (1st phase) and an interview (final phase). Based on the performance in the written test, shortlisted candidates are selected for the interview. The final list of candidates will be announced after the interview.
