Financial Assistance for Professional Education
Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023, eligible girl students who have successfully passed Class 12 and aspire to pursue professional graduation courses from reputed institutes will be provided a scholarship of Rs. 1.5 lakh* per year. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023, the following criteria must be met:
1. Academic Excellence
Applicants must have achieved a score of 85% or more marks or an equivalent CGPA in their Class 12 board examination.
2. Family Income
The annual family income of the applicant must be Rs. 6,00,000 (Rupees Six Lakh) or less.
3. Course and Institute
Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to first-year graduation programs in the Academic Year – 2023 are eligible.
The courses must be professional graduation programs like Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 years), or other professional courses such as Design and Architecture.
The institutes must be accredited by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) or NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
4. Exclusions
Children of employees working for Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, or Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023.
